I have worked on a number of projects related to healthcare, nonprofits, education, and the arts. A recent project focused on internal and external work to support efforts to regain a Medicare 5 Star rating for a healthcare organization.

The work included internal communications:

Tools for physicians and staff:
As success measurements, we used specific terminology and dedicated QR codes that drove to Reputation.com reviews.

This body of work represents strategic planing, coordination with multiple stakeholders, project management, and copywriting.
As a communications consultant, I am often called upon to support executive messages. During a recent labor strike, empathetic messages and clear updates were extremely important to drive up morale and to help avoid misinformation.
This body of work represents the support provided to pharmacy leadership during a prolonged strike of 14 weeks. Working closely with leadership, we identified the opportunity to share gratitude as a means for uniting staff. I worked with leadership to gather their thoughts and help elevate the message, shift the tone, and maintain the leaders’ authentic voice.
Crisis communications has provided me the most significant opportunity for career development and growth. This body of work represents a complex communication plan and execution around a durable medical equipment (DME) recall from a third party.
I was called upon to drive the strategy and plan for remediation communication for more than 64,000 patients. I led the work for the healthcare organization, leaning into national business partners to review and approve all materials.
This body of work demonstrates:

Communicating to members

Problem-solving to support:
Parties involved were PR, Communications, Legal, Compliance, operational leads, and department staff.
